Every day we make thousands of decisions. Most of them aren’t all that important. But some are. Some decisions are literally about life and death. What help does Christianity provide for people in making decisions? Pastor Luke looks at Matthew 12:14–21 in “Humility,” part 7 of his 10-part series “Responses to the Messiah.”
Decision making is hard work. Following Jesus, or discipleship, is a useful way to avoid the hard work of decision-making. But frequently we have areas where we want to make our own decisions, and are reluctant to follow where Jesus leads. Eventually, however, he challenges us to decide whether we will be his disciples fully, or not. Pastor Luke preaches from Matthew 8:18–22 in “How to Make Better Decisions,” part 2 of his 4-part series “Grace Period.”
