The members of the church in Corinth had problems. They were struggling with what it meant to become followers of Jesus, and wanted guidance in matters like church leadership, conflict among members, sex and marriage, how to worship God, and relations with the surrounding pagan culture. So they wrote a letter to their friend Paul, who had founded the church some time before. In his reply, he answered questions about their problems as individuals and as a community. What can we lean today about the contemporary church from Paul’s letter to Corinth? (The series begins on July 28, 2013 and runs for 5 messages.)
